Dry Ice
We use dry ice in our packaging to ensure that your meat arrives in peak condition. This dry ice is made from recovered CO2 from fertilizer and bioethanol production processes. By using it, we avoid the need for additional electrical refrigeration during transit, allowing you to enjoy the freshest meat with a reduced environmental impact.
Disposal Of Dry Ice
Dry ice sublimates, leaving no residue. However, care should be taken if any surplus ice remains after use.
ALWAYS ensure that dry ice is disposed of in a safe place:
- Well-ventilated area
- Secured against access to passers-by, especially children and animals
DO NOT dispose of dry ice in areas where CO2 gas can collect in low-lying spaces such as garage pits, drains, or confined areas.
Any leftover packaging should be disposed of with care and recycled wherever possible.

About The Breed
Available Breeds: Suffolk & Texel
Region: Smallholding Family Farm in South Wales
Tasting notes: Rich & slightly sweet
Description:
Suffolk, breed of medium-wool, dark-faced, hornless sheep developed in England during the years 1800 to 1850 by mating Norfolk horned ewes with Southdown rams. Suffolks are prolific, early maturing sheep with excellent mutton carcasses. They are energetic, and the whole carriage is alert, showing stamina and quality.
Suffolk lamb meat is succulent and juicy, often praised for its excellent balance of fat and lean muscle. This fat imparts a lot of the flavour and keeps the meat moist during cooking.
